I will review your manuscript line by line to refine the sentence structure, word choice, tone and mood, flow, pacing, and dialogue. This service can be performed either before or simultaneously with copyediting.

I am always available to answer questions about your manuscript and my edits via email. If you would like a one-on-on conversation via telephone or Zoom, the rate is a flat fee for up to thirty (30) minutes.

If you find you need more help due to substantial rewriting after the copyedit stage, I will conduct an additional round of copyediting.

After you have reviewed the edited manuscript, accepted or rejected changes, and consulted with me (if desired), I will conduct a final read through of the manuscript to catch any errors that may have been introduced during the review process.

I will review your final proof for errors or formatting issues introduced during the design or formatting stage. I will review the accuracy of cross-references, contents, and index page numbers, and the labeling of graphic elements. This service is not the same as copyediting. Proofreading is performed after design or formatting and before publication or print.

I will read your manuscript and provide you with feedback based on my experience solely as a reader, not as an editor. This may include feedback related to story pacing, clarity and cohesion of overall narrative, and emotional impact. I will also pay special attention to any areas or elements you request and read for and answer any specific questions you want answered.
